Chair Reupholstery
in Ballymena & County Antrim
Dining chairs, occasional chairs and statement pieces — re-covered, repaired and restored to match your room.
Chairs carry the personality of a room. A worn dining set or a tired wingback in the wrong fabric throws everything else off — and replacing them rarely matches the quality of what you already own. We reupholster individual chairs and full sets in your choice of fabric, leather or velvet, with the same attention to stitching, piping and finish that the original maker would have used.
Most chairs take a week to ten days each, depending on complexity. For sets of four to ten dining chairs, we work efficiently in batch and keep the unit cost down.

questions
Common questions about this service. Can't see yours? Send us a WhatsApp message and we'll answer directly.
Can you reupholster just the seat pads on dining chairs?
Yes — drop-in seat pads are one of the most common jobs we do. They're typically straightforward, quick, and a great way to refresh a dining set without major cost. Send a photo of one chair and tell us how many you have.
Do you recover antique chairs without damaging the wood?
Yes. We use traditional techniques on traditional frames — hand-tacking rather than staples where appropriate, original-style webbing and natural fillings if you want a period-correct rebuild. Wood is masked and protected throughout.
How long does a single armchair take?
Typically seven to ten working days for a straightforward armchair. Wingbacks, button-tufted backs and pieces needing frame repair take longer — we'll always give an honest timeline upfront.
